Account Details

Submitting your meter reading is quick and easy

Follow our simple steps to reading your meter and then submit your reading using our online form below

Your personal details are very important and this is why we are careful with the information we collect about you. Please read our privacy statement to understand how we may use your personal information.

Please enter your United Utilities account number Only numeric value can be entered in the account number field Help
Your account number is a ten digit number beginning with '4' that appears in the top right hand corner of your bill as shown in the image. Please enter it without any spaces between any of the digits.
This is the 10 digit number that appears on your water bill
This is required to send the confirmation email for your meter readings
If you have provided a mobile number, we may text you to keep you up to date with your request

Your meter will have 4 or 5 digits on a black or white background, followed by 2 or 3 in a red background. Include all the numbers on the black or white background and ignore all the red ones
